Mr. Sideline Chef has been a workhorse around the house the past week. He's made it so I didn't have to lift a finger and just concentrate on getting myself better. He has accomplished a list of "Hunny-Do Chores" (with a smile) and has kept the house runnin' and the boys tickin'.
Being my personal assistant, he received the call from the doctor's office yesterday afternoon during one of my many naps. The doctor asked how I was doing and then she delivered the results from the CT scan. Everything came back negative! What a relief! The doctor believes it was just lingering food poisoning and that it would be best for me to continue the bland food diet until my stomach can hold down food and is no longer uneasy.
I still have a horrible stomach ache after a week of these symptoms. Ick! At least I've kept the food down for the past day and a half.
Once again, thank you so much for all of your well wishes! It has been greatly appreciated and I am very grateful for all of your support.

Oh goodness. So sorry you're having such a terrible time but glad you seem to be coming around the corner with help from you honey. Keep resting!
So glad it was nothing serious.
I'm just so sorry you have had to deal with this. I don't relish anyone having to succumb to a sour stomach. I have had stomach issues my whole life, and although this is different, I can totally relate to constant (as my daughter would call it) cranky belly. Glad you had some good news though! And a helpful hubby!
Here I am on week four of the Flat Belly Diet and feeling guilty, sad, and happy. The guilty and sad go hand in hand because our cute little Pretend Chef has been so ill. So while I have been enjoying food and healthy progress my daughter has been fighting off her illness and taking excellent care of our grandson. A big thank you to our Mr. Sideline for taking care of Babycakes and Itty Bitty, and of course the other boys. So the stats are in for the fourth week of progress. I maintained the 5 lb. loss, waist = 2 1/2 inch loss, hips = 1 1/2 inch loss. There are a few chubby areas which are also measured such as calves, thighs, and arms; so overall loss in inches in one month is 6 1/2 inches! Just a couple months ago I was barely able to walk two blocks to the store and back. At time of this writing, it is unbelieveable yet to me the stamina gained. Enjoying now brisk walks of thirty minutes and feeling energized after the event! No more fatique! The Flat Belly Diet is no longer just a diet or a fad, it has become my lifestyle. A well deserved thank you for my Pretend and Sideline Chefs for gifting me the book and the moral support. A thank you to the Prevention folks for this healthy approach. And while my tall red-headed mate comically watches me preparing food, eating food, planning menus, and looking forward to my next meal (as I am munching); he can see the positive change in his gal. Healthy eating to all and Happy Thoughts!
